For residents and visitors of Medford, some traffic disruptions are on the horizon as the city undertakes a series of road and lane closures starting June 30 and continuing until July 7. According to the City of Medford, S. Orange Street will face a full closure between W. 8th Street and W. 10th Street on June 30 from 7 AM to 5 PM for street repairs. The following day, further repairs will be made to the closure, including the stretch from W. Main Street to W. 8th Street during the same hours.
As the repair works continue, S. Orange Street will again be inaccessible, from W. 10th Street to W. 11th Street. The closures on this stretch are scheduled for July 2 and again on July 7 between 7 AM and 5 PM. In a similar vein, Table Rock Road from Berrydale Ave to Midway Road will experience lane closures, with flaggers on-site on June 27-28 from 7 PM to 6 AM, due to the slurry seal work being performed by One Way Trigger crews.
For those who frequent W. Main Street, it's important to note that lane closures will affect the section from Newton Street to S. Peach Street on July 1, encompassing the typical working hours of 7 AM to 5 PM. This comes as part of the city's endeavors to keep the infrastructure in check and maintain the thoroughfares for a smoother commute.
