A juvenile has been arrested and charged with the murder of 22-year-old Joshlyn Dyson following a fatal shooting in Memphis. The Memphis Police Department announced through a social media post that the incident occurred last Saturday, at approximately 12:34 p.m. at 2618 Frayser Boulevard. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Dyson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the site of the shooting.
Following the collection of video footage and evidence near the crime scene, a 17-year-old male emerged as the primary suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, owing to his minor status. Having responded to the shooting, the Memphis Police Department promptly launched an investigation, which led to the swift apprehension of the suspect in the 1200 block of Greenwood Street yesterday, by the MPD Fugitive Unit.
The teenage suspect is currently facing serious charges, including First Degree Murder in Perpetration of an Aggravated Robbery. The Memphis Police Department's post revealed the charges.
