
A gunshot incident from the night of Tuesday has spurred an investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Around 11:15 p.m., 911 received a call regarding shots fired from a moving vehicle in Berlin Township, Monroe County, according to CBS Detroit.
Following the call, authorities diligently took to search the neighborhood and were soon able to locate a vehicle that matched the reported description on Chamberlin Road, as noted in the deputies' report from monroenews.com. The owner, after being questioned, was released while deputies reportedly found evidence inside the vehicle to seemingly, connect it to the reported gunfire.
No property damage or personal targeting has been reported in correlation with the gunfire. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, including Sheriff Troy Goodnough, confirms the absence of reported damage and that the motive for the shots remains a mystery. The incident is under active investigation, and officials are urging anyone with information to come forward, according to a social media post from Monroe County Reporters.
