Initial reports indicated a critical situation, and the motorcyclist was quickly transported to a hospital nearby. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the individual succumbed to the injuries sustained. The roadway, an important conduit for the hustle of Las Vegas, stood still for hours, reopening around 5 a.m. Monday morning, News 3 LV has learned.
The Nevada State Police Department has confirmed the crash and is leading the investigation. The cause is still unknown, and no details have been shared yet. The eastbound side of the parkway, which was closed for emergency response and investigation, is now open. The identity of the person who died is being withheld until their family is notified, according to News 3 LV.
