
A fatal crash in Victorville on Tuesday night has left one person dead and authorities searching for answers. The incident, which occurred just past 10:30 p.m., involved a gray Ford F150 and a red BMW R1100RT motorcycle. The vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of Hesperia Road, south of Jasmine Street, according to a report by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
The male driver of a BMW motorcycle was found with major injuries and was rushed to Desert Valley Hospital. However, he did not survive and was pronounced deceased following his arrival. His identity has been confirmed as a Hesperia resident, although further details are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the Ford F150 remained at the scene, cooperating with law enforcement officers as they began their investigation into the cause of the crash.
Deputies from the Victorville PoliceStation, alongside the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, were called to the scene to provide assistance and support. The area on Hesperia Road between Jasmine Street and Bear Valley Road was closed for an extended period to allow the Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team to examine the scene and collect evidence.
