A tragic incident unfolded on South Las Vegas Boulevard last week as a motorcycle crashed into a fixed object, resulting in the death of the rider. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that on June 6, 2025, at around 7:12 p.m., a 2021 Benelli TNT 135cc motorcycle was involved in a single-vehicle accident north of East Moberly Avenue. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the motorcyclist was traveling in the right lane and, for reasons yet to be determined, lost control before striking the east curb line.
The force of the crash ejected the 50-year-old male rider from the bike, landing him on the east sidewalk. He was quickly transported to Saint Rose Siena Hospital by emergency responders who attempted to resuscitate him. Despite their efforts to save the man's life, he was pronounced dead by the hospital's medical staff. Authorities are waiting for the Clark County Coroner’s Office to establish the official cause and manner of death before classifying it as a traffic-related fatality, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The identity of the victim is currently withheld pending notification of next of kin. As of now, the Collision Investigation Section of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The department will provide updates as more information becomes available.
