In the early hours of yesterday morning, tragedy struck in South St. Louis County with the death of a motorcyclist following a hit-and-run crash. According to FOX 2 Now, the crash happened near the intersection of South Broadway and Hoffmeister Avenue around 5 a.m. Tyler Grosvenor, a 30-year-old St. Louis resident, was fatally wounded in the crash and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
The search for the driver who fled the scene is currently underway by the St. Louis County Police Department. As obtained by KSDK, a spokeswoman shared that when officers arrived at the crash site, they discovered the involved motorcycle and noted, "The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene."
