The City of New Braunfels will close several facilities on July 4 for the holiday. This includes City Hall, Municipal Court, both library branches, the Civic & Convention Center, and other offices. However, garbage and recycling pickup will stay on its regular schedule, according to the City of New Braunfels.
For July 4, the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs will open early for a tournament but will close right after to get ready for the fireworks show. Das Rec will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fireworks display is a popular part of the city's Independence Day celebrations and usually draws a big crowd, as reported by the City of New Braunfels.
There will be some traffic closures on July 4 in downtown New Braunfels. Starting at 8:00 a.m., the Main Plaza and nearby streets will be closed for the Sophienburg Museum’s Annual 4th of July Parade and Patriotic Program. Streets should reopen around 11:30 a.m.,as stated by the City of New Braunfels.
