The NYPD is seeking information related to a recent assault in Queens, where a 36-year-old man was brutally attacked by a group of five individuals. The incident occurred early in the morning on June 7, in front of 76-07 Roosevelt Avenue. According to the NYPD Crimestoppers' social media post, the altercation began with a verbal dispute and quickly escalated as the group surrounded the victim. The assailants punched and kicked the man, inflicting serious bodily harm.
During the confrontation, one of the perpetrators brandished a knife and verbally threatened the victim. Meanwhile, two others from the group used a wooden stick to strike the man. The NYPD report indicates that the victim sustained severe injuries to his head, and lower back. No arrests have been made yet, and the identities of the suspects remain unknown. The Crimestoppers' post, released yesterday, seeks the public's help in gathering any information that could lead to the arrest of these individuals.
The vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue where the assault took place, falls under the jurisdiction of the NYPD 115 Precinct.
