The NYPD is on the hunt for a suspect involved in a robbery that took place at the Flushing Avenue subway station in Brooklyn. According to a social media post from NYPD Crimestoppers, a 26-year-old woman was attacked on June 14, at roughly 1:02 a.m. as she was boarding a Manhattan-bound train.
The unidentified assailant allegedly snatched the victim's purse, forcibly pushing her to the ground before assaulting her with multiple punches to her face and head, which resulted in minor injuries.
The NYPD 90th Precinct is conducting the investigation and has released this information to request assistance from the public in obtaining leads. Individuals with information related to the case are asked to contact Crimestoppers via direct message or by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All tips will be kept anonymous.
