The New York Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in two separate grand larceny incidents in Brooklyn, turning to the public for assistance. According to a social media post from NYPD Crimestoppers, the unidentified individual is connected to larcenies that took place within the areas of the 77th and 90th Precincts.

The first incident occurred on May 11, when a 37-year-old woman had her cell phone snatched right out of her hand as she was walking in front of 941 Pacific Street. The perpetrator made their escape on a motorized scooter, heading eastbound on Pacific Street. A week later, another individual, a 31-year-old woman was similarly targeted while walking at the intersection of Hewes Street and Kent Avenue. She too had her cell phone stolen away by someone riding a motorized scooter who then fled northbound on Kent Avenue.

NYPD Crimestoppers have released a photo and video of the suspect asking anyone with information to come forward. The law enforcement is actively encouraging the community to help safely identify the suspect.
