
The NYPD Crimestoppers are on the hunt for two suspects involved in an assault that left a 57-year-old man injured after he was attacked from behind while exiting a commercial establishment in the Bronx. According to the social media post shared by the authorities, the incident occurred on May 25, around 10:22 p.m. within the bounds of the 46th Precinct.
Reports indicate that the unsuspecting victim was blindsided by one individual who wielded a baseball bat, striking him multiple times. This assault caused him to fall to the ground, at which point another assailant joined, punching the man repeatedly with closed fists. The severity of the victim's injuries was not immediately disclosed, as the NYPD continues to request public assistance in identifying the perpetrators.
The NYPD has urged anyone with information regarding the assailants to come forward. They have opened several channels for anonymous tips, extending the invitation to DM them on X at @nypdtips or to make a call to the confidential hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
