Early Saturday morning, a house fire in Apache Junction landed one person in the hospital in critical condition. Superstition Fire & Medical District crews responded to an emergency call near Broadway and Ironwood roads, with initial reports of an individual trapped inside the residence.
Upon arrival, firefighters were greeted with smoke billowing from the house, and rapidly, they discovered an active blaze at the back of the building.
