
Galveston, Texas, witnessed a violent start to Wednesday when a shooting incident resulted in one fatality and left two other individuals hospitalized. The Galveston Police Department confirmed that officers were dispatched following reports of gunfire at approximately 2:50 a.m. in the 2400 block of Avenue E.
Upon arrival at the scene, a 31-year-old man was discovered inside a vehicle, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared dead on location, as reported by KHOU. In a nearby area, at the crux of 25th Street and Avenue G, a second victim, aged 29, sustained multiple gunshot wounds as well.
The aftermath of the incident further unfolded when a 25-year-old man was found in the 2400 block of Avenue H with injuries that were not related to gunfire. Both of the surviving victims were swiftly transported to an area hospital for treatment. Details regarding the motive or circumstances of the shooting remain unclear as the investigation persists.
