A tragic incident occurred near Lansing, Michigan, when a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a man and left two others with minor injuries. According to information provided by CBS Detroit, the collision took place around noon yesterday at the intersection of M-50 and Mulliken Road in Eaton County's Chester Township.

Michigan State Police were at the scene and their preliminary findings suggest that the fatal crash involved a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. The Equinox, operated by a 30-year-old woman from Mulliken, reportedly failed to heed the stop sign as it traveled southbound on Mulliken Road, consequently colliding with the Pacifica. WILX noted that both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported for treatment to University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital in Charlotte.

In an unfortunate turn of events, a 29-year-old male passenger of the Pacifica, hailing from Sunfield, was ejected from the minivan during the accident. Despite being rushed to the same hospital for urgent medical attention, he was pronounced dead. As per authorities cited by WLNS, it is currently not known if the passenger had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Michigan State Police have yet to conclude their investigation and are soliciting information from those who may have witnessed the collision or have relevant knowledge pertaining to the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call the Lansing post at 517-322-1907, following the request issued by state police. It has been confirmed that alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash.
