The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office has welcomed Deputy Tayler Monette to its force. As announced in a Sheriff's Office Facebook post, Monette completed his associate's degree and law enforcement certification at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) in May. Sheriff Knowles and Undersheriff Hermann presented Monette with his badge and whistle chain.
The badge presentation for Deputy Monette served as a formal acknowledgment of his transition into law enforcement. Following his graduation, the Sheriff's Office conducted a swearing-in ceremony, during which family members were present to witness Deputy Monette's pledge to begin his career.
The Sheriff's office shared, "We are excited to have Deputy Monette join our team and begin his career in public service." This message from the department serves to inform the community about their new officer and highlights the department's focus on community engagement as Deputy Monette assumes his responsibilities in upholding law and order.
