As the week progresses, the forecast suggests a return to drier conditions with Tuesday set to be sunny and warmer with highs edging up to 96 degrees. Calm winds will prevail, becoming a gentle west-southwest breeze in the afternoon. Settling into the night, a low temperature around 73 degrees is anticipated, favouring those with plans for a mild evening out under a partly cloudy sky.
The National Weather Service anticipates the mercury will continue to climb throughout the week. Wednesday and Thursday promise plenty of sunshine with high temperatures pushing towards 100 degrees, and by Friday, thermometers in Phoenix are expected to read 103 degrees.
