
The Plymouth Police Department has released a breakdown of their weekly activity, providing a transparent view into their operations from June 1 through June 7. According to a social media post, the department handled a total of 829 incidents, which included responding to 34 motor vehicle accidents and conducting 48 traffic stops. The snapshot gives residents a better understanding of what their local officers are dealing with daily.
Among the incidents were 16 arrests made and eight criminal complaints filed. The officers, running 24 disturbances, also responded to 27 house and building alarms, echoing the constant vigilance required to maintain safety. While performing 60 medical/mental/wellbeing checks, the department's commitment to the community's physical and mental health becomes evident.
Noteworthy in the report are the 48 accidental 911 calls, an issue that consumes valuable time and resources which could have been directed toward actual emergencies. There were also 31 reports of suspicious activities, keeping the police on their toes as they investigated these concerns. The Plymouth Police Department emphasized the importance of these checks, saying, "Thank you to our officers for their dedication and to our community for your support! Stay safe."
