Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrested a man on his second Driving While Intoxicated charge after a traffic stop on Tuesday. The stop occurred in the 7800 block of N Sam Houston Parkway W and involved Alejandro Ixcolestacuy, who showed signs of intoxication, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies administered a battery of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests to Alejandro Ixcolestacuy, which confirmed their suspicions of impairment. A background check revealed a previous Driving While Intoxicated conviction and an active misdemeanor warrant for the same offense. “Alejandro Ixcolestacuy was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $500.00 out of County Court 15,” the Constable’s office stated.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, the Constable's Office is encouraging the community to stay informed about local crime, arrests, and safety updates. They have launched a mobile app called “C4 NOW” and are providing live updates on Facebook regarding crime and traffic incidents. A recent post reported the arrest of Ixcolestacuy for driving under the influence, serving as a reminder of the risks associated with impaired driving.
