A tragic incident unfolded on the far North Side of San Antonio as road rage escalated into gunfire, leaving one man dead. The confrontation took place just before 5 p.m. yesterday in the 22000 block of Interstate 10 near Stonewall Hill. According to KSAT, the San Antonio Police Department reported that one man is dead and another has been detained at the scene. However, the detained individual is not providing information to authorities.
Further details revealed by Fox San Antonio indicate the incident involved two couples and began after a driver was reported going the wrong way. An argument ensued, which spiraled into violence when one of the involved parties pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots. The unnamed man who was shot was taken to a hospital in critical condition but sadly succumbed to his injuries.
No other injuries have been reported in relation to the incident, and the police investigation is ongoing. Authorities have yet to release the name of the victim or the details surrounding the cause of the altercation.
