The judge denied Beltran probation and sentenced him to 14 years in prison following an impact statement made in court by one of the victims. Beltran was also made a lifetime sex registrant and ordered to have no contact with either victim. https://t.co/JQRHDdMljA

Beltran, now 24, had previously entered a no-contest plea to four felony counts including rape of an unconscious person and sodomy. His acts of violation were recorded on his cellphone, which included sexually assaulting two different girlfriends while they were unconscious, a discovery made by one of the victims, which led to his arrest by the Daly City Police Department in February 2023.
Following the disturbing discovery of the video evidence on his phone by one of the victims, who, despite the apparent shock, took swift action by locking the device, expelling Beltran from her home, and promptly contacting law enforcement. The investigation that ensued unearthed additional acts of sexual violence against a past girlfriend of Beltran's in San Francisco, as per a report by Hoodline.
