In a recent development in San Mateo County, 24-year-old Damien Marcus Cayabyab Beltran has entered a no-contest plea to four felony counts involving sexual assault. According to a social media post by the San Mateo County District Attorney, the charges include rape of an unconscious person and sodomy. Beltran's sentencing is scheduled for June 13, following the recording of the crimes against two different girlfriends on his cell phone.

Beltran's arrest by the Daly City Police Department in February 2023 came after one of the victims, his girlfriend, found disturbing evidence on his phone. This evidence comprised videos of various sexual acts perpetrated while she was unconscious, including sexual intercourse, oral copulation, sodomy, and penetration by a foreign object, as reported by KRON4. After locking his phone, the victim expelled Beltran from her residence and contacted the authorities.
Further investigation led to the discovery of similar crimes committed against a previous girlfriend in San Francisco. Both victims have brought charges forward in San Mateo County. Beltran is facing felony rape of an incompetent person and felony corporal injury charges, reflecting the gravity of his actions.
Until his upcoming court appearance, Beltran remains incarcerated with bail set at a staggering $1,800,000. The legal proceedings are set to continue with defense attorney Brandon Douglass representing Beltran.
