Seattle residents can expect a slight shift in the weather as the overcast morning gives way to a mostly sunny afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Seattle. The NWS reported that the temperature will peak at about 68 degrees with a south wind of 9 to 11 mph, which is set to become west in the afternoon.
For those making evening plans, there's a 20 percent chance of showers before the early hours of Friday. The clouds should increase as the night wears on, with temperatures dropping to around 52 degrees.
The weather pendulum swings back to a sunnier note over the weekend, as noted by the NWS. Tomorrow shares today's high of 68 with clouds clearing for sunshine, and Saturday is looking to be even brighter, with a high near 72 and mostly sunny skies predicted.
Yet the pattern doesn’t hold steady, and we may see the return of clouds and showers early next week. Monday brings a slight chance of showers in the late morning, increasing to a higher probability of rainfall by Tuesday—showers likely, as the NWS succinctly puts it. Nevertheless, highs will remain in the low 70s, meaning the rain could offer some respite from the warmth rather than bring a chill.
