According to a statement obtained by the Shelby County Health Department, there will be details on free and low-cost dental services, tobacco prevention education, and the WIC program's nutritional and breastfeeding support, among other valuable offerings.

Dr. Michelle Taylor, Shelby County Health Department Director/Health Officer, emphasized the significance of the event. "This Community Care Fair is one of several events Shelby County Health Department will provide this summer to make our services more accessible to the public," she noted. Residents of the Memphis Medical District and, the surrounding community are invited to join for free food, music, and a plethora of services, as per the Shelby County Health Department.

Moreover, the SCHD Office of Vital Records will operate during the fair, dispensing Tennessee birth and death certificates for $15.00 each, with appropriate identification required.
