In a significant crackdown on property crime, Sonoma County Sheriff's detectives have swooped in on a sizable fencing operation in Oakland. In a social media post shared by the Sonoma Sheriff, it was disclosed that a search warrant at a residence led to the recovery of an assortment of stolen goods, roughly estimated at $200,000.
The items, comprised of power tools, designer wear, and various medications, are believed to have been lifted from multiple retail establishments across the Bay Area. During the raid, detectives also stumbled upon over $85,000 in cash, allegedly linked to the underground retail theft syndicate.
The case has been forwarded to the Alameda County District Attorney for prosecution.
