A juvenile in St. Augustine was left with a severe head injury after crashing an electric scooter yesterday afternoon. The 13-year-old, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was riding near Casa Sevilla Avenue when they fell from the scooter around 4:30 p.m., the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office reported.
