
A piece of the legacy of the late George Foreman, heavyweight boxing champion and entrepreneur, was recovered in a twist of everyday law enforcement vigilance. A vehicle reported stolen from the Foreman family estate has been brought back to its rightful place, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's Office.
The turn of events unfolded last night when Deputy Gutierrez conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7700 block of FM 1960 Road East. It was during this stop that the connection to the Foreman family surfaced, as reported by Click2Houston, the car was identified as stolen property belonging to the Foremans. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was not only a suspect in a car theft but also had an active burglary warrant. The suspect was quickly taken into custody.
Commendations have been directed towards the Atascocita Deputies for their diligence. In an announcement shared by Precinct 4 via their Facebook page, the team's effective police work was highlighted, "Great work by our Atascocita Deputies!” Further details on the suspect or the surrounding circumstances of the theft have not been made available to the public at this time.
