The Allegheny County Police reported to the 1800 block of Eaton Street in response to a ShotSpotter alert activated around 9 p.m. There, officers discovered evidence consistent with a shooting, though initially, the victim was nowhere to be found. A subsequent search led to the discovery of the teenage victim on the 1800 block of Powers Street, who was found injured a short time after the police arrived at the scene of the shooting. Once located, the teen was promptly taken to the hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
