
A firefighter from The Woodlands was severely injured this morning after a large ceiling fan fell on him in the fire station. According to FOX 26 Houston, the incident occurred inside The Woodlands Fire Station 7, situated on the 26700 block of Kuykendahl Road.
The scene of the accident, where the firefighter was struck by the fan in the bay of the firehouse, was attended by deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office to assist with life flight due to the nature of his injuries. With specifics of the accident still under wraps, the name and current condition of the firefighter remain undisclosed.
As reported by CW39 Houston, the Constable's Office confirmed that the firefighter was struck by a large fan and required transport via Life Flight. The Woodlands Fire Department has not released any additional information at this time, and it remains unclear when further updates will be provided.
