
Early Sunday morning, a house party in west Phoenix became the scene of a shooting that left three people injured, according to reports. FOX 10 Phoenix noted the incident occurred around 2 a.m. near 91st Avenue and Encanto Boulevard during what was described as a "loud party that turned into a shooting."
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a juvenile girl with a gunshot wound, her injuries deemed non-life-threatening. Additionally, two men were found to have been taken to the hospital prior to police arrival; one suffering from life-threatening injuries, while the other’s injuries were also non-life-threatening, ABC 15 reports.
Phoenix Police mentioned, "Officers have secured the scene, and detectives will be en route to begin this extensive investigation," as cited by FOX 10 Phoenix. Currently, there have been no detentions in connection with the shooting, which remains under active investigation.
Authorities are still trying to figure out what caused the shooting, and the motive is unknown. The names of those involved haven’t been released. Police are asking anyone with information to help by calling Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or sending an anonymous tip online, as per FOX 10 Phoenix.
