Local authorities recently nabbed a man for driving under the influence and carrying a weapon illegally. The incident unfolded on the Tomball Tollway, where a damaged vehicle caught the attention of Constable Mark Herman's deputies, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

When deputies arrived at the scene in the 26800 block on June 16, they found Emmanuel Vazquez behind the wheel. His car was visibly impaired, featuring damaged rims, and a flat tire. Signs of intoxication were evident, prompting the officers to conduct Field Sobriety Tests, which, Vazquez failed, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook post.

The situation escalated when an AR-15 Rifle was found loaded in Vazquez's possession. The arrest followed, on charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon.  "Emmanuel Vazquez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. His total bond was set at $200.00 out of County Court 07," the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 disclosed.
