A crash occurred when a Chevrolet driven by 51-year-old Kelly Jennings of Ogden, Utah, was stopped in traffic. A 19-year-old man from Las Vegas, riding a Coleman trail bike, approached the stopped vehicles but did not slow down. He crashed into the back of the Chevrolet and was thrown onto the road, suffering serious injuries. His name has not been released pending notification of his family, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

A motorcyclist died after a crash involving a Chevrolet Equinox in Las Vegas. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital but later pronounced dead. The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured and showed no signs of impairment. This was the 79th traffic-related death in the area this year.
