A motorcycle crash in Clinton County has resulted in serious injuries for at least two individuals late evening yesterday. The incident, which involved a collision between a motorcycle and a car, took place around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 22 and South Clarksville Road, as reported by Wilmington News Journal. Following the crash, authorities were forced to shut down the highway in the vicinity of the accident site to carry out their preliminary investigations.
Several emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, where they found that the motorcycle's occupants had suffered significant harm. To urgently transport the injured to a hospital for further medical attention, two medical helicopters were called. "Two medical helicopters were called to the scene, one for each motorcycle occupant," confirmed the Ohio State Highway Patrol in a statement obtained by WLWT News.
