The Orlando Police Department reported that the event occurred around 6:40 p.m. on the 4500 block of Conroy Road, according to ClickOrlando. One of the victims was rushed to the hospital following the incident; the specific conditions or identities of either victim have not been revealed to the public at this point.
The scene of the shooting, outside a 7-Eleven, remained under investigation by police on Wednesday, and no details regarding a suspect or potential motive were immediately available. "The investigation is active and ongoing," the Orlando Police Department reiterated in a statement. Information concerning one victim's hospitalization has been confirmed; however, the status of the second injured party was unclear, according to coverage by FOX 35 Orlando.
