Two juveniles have been detained after being caught in a recently stolen vehicle in north Harris County. Sergeant Gonzalez of Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on the 19500 block of Aldine Westfield Road, where a 14 and 15-year-old were found operating the stolen car, according to a report by Click2Houston.
The incident reportedly took place in, and the subsequent investigation confirmed that the juveniles had only recently taken possession of the vehicle. Not only were the teens driving the stolen automobile, but they were also found with items deemed "criminal instruments," although specifics regarding these items have not been disclosed.
The Facebook page for Precinct 4 commended the swift actions of the officers involved, identifying the team as 'Great work C4!' The vehicle was promptly returned to its rightful owner, highlighting efficient police work as well as a quick recovery for the victim.
