
Two men have died following an early morning altercation that escalated to gunfire outside a North Side bar in San Antonio. According to KSAT, the incident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. yesterday outside LUNA Live Music Bar, situated at 6740 San Pedro Ave. Officers arrived to find one man already deceased, and another with injuries that later proved fatal at a hospital. The conflict initially began in the bar's parking lot with a group of females, and, the two men fatally shot possibly had a role in the exchange.
Further details from the scene indicate that the relationship between the two deceased men remains uncertain, and neither individual has been publicly identified yet. As per Fox San Antonio, a group of women and the two aforementioned males were involved in a dispute that turned violent when guns were drawn. The police have not confirmed if the two men were firing at each other, or if a third party was involved, as the alleged suspect fled the scene prior to their arrival.
The San Antonio Police Department is actively investigating the shooting at Luna Bar & Lounge on San Pedro Avenue near Jackson Keller Road. They are in pursuit of a suspect in connection with the incident, which sadly resulted in two losses of life. The motives behind the altercation and subsequent shooting have yet to be unveiled.
