The incident occurred as the police cruiser, a fully marked city vehicle, was traveling southbound. A sedan moving in the opposite direction collided with it. Both police officers and the driver of the sedan were transported to the hospital for precautionary reasons after the crash, 12News confirmed.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., and authorities quickly began investigating the cause. Both the officers and the civilian driver were given medical care, and the case is still being reviewed, as per 12News.
