Two teenage girls were caught in the violent crossfire during an unlawful street party in Detroit's west side, as confirmed by Detroit Police. The incident, which unfolded around 12:09 a.m. yesterday on the 15700 block of Coyle Street, left the teenagers with non-life-threatening injuries. An unknown assailant unleashed a barrage of bullets amidst the banned celebration. FOX 2 Detroit indicated that police are diligently investigating the shooting. Both wounded teenagers were confirmed to have avoided life-threatening harm, the report adds, after the chaos of the nocturnal gathering.

"Anyone with information related to this shooting is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department's 2nd Precinct at 313-596-5240 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up," a social media post from the Macomb County Scanner underscored.
