The Jacksonville community is on high alert as the search intensifies for two missing children, Taylor Muller, 11, and Brooklyn Albertie, 10. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) has issued a plea to the public, urging residents to assist in locating the young girls who were reported missing early Wednesday morning. According to a report from First Coast News, the disappearance was first reported at 3:40 a.m. after the girls did not return to their Northwest Jacksonville home.
On Tuesday, around 3 p.m., Muller and Albertie left their residence on the 2800 block of Lippia Road with the intention to ride a bus to a local park on Benedict Road. After leaving to take a bus to the park, the girls never came home as verified by the police. The JSO raised concerns about their safety, emphasizing their "tender age," according to a release covered by First Coast News.
Taylor Muller is described as a Black female, 5'2", with brown eyes and black hair worn in an Afro back rubber band. She was last seen wearing pink and blue shorts and a black hoodie with an unknown logo. Brooklyn Albertie, also a Black female, stands at 4'9", with brown eyes and identical black hair. Her attire included a black t-shirt featuring a white logo and gray shorts when last seen. These descriptions come from News4JAX, which further detailed their last known clothing.
The JSO is asking the public to check any cameras or vehicles that might help find the missing children. "If you reside in this area, we ask that you check any cameras, vehicles, and property for the children," JSO implored in a statement obtained by First Coast News.
A similar call for vigilance and support was echoed in reports by WOKV, stressing the community's role in the urgent search for Taylor and Brooklyn.
Community members with any information that could lead to the whereabouts of Taylor Muller and Brooklyn Albertie are urged to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office immediately.
