The combined forces of CAL FIRE, Vacaville Fire District, Solano County Sheriff's Office, and Fairfield Fire Department played instrumental roles in mitigating the emergency, KTVU details.
According to an update by CAL FIRE, the fire ignited mid-afternoon and was swiftly engaged by ground and aerial fire suppression teams, with their collective efforts halting the fire's advance by 3:45 PM. The situation stabilized enough for evacuation warnings in Zones SOL-2788 and SOL-2790 to be rescinded by 4:30 PM. The update stated that while four engines and a water tender remained on the scene overnight, the completeness of the containment strategies and the extinguishing of hot spots were ongoing today.
