Quick action by the Vallejo Police Department led to the arrests of three suspects following an armed robbery in an apartment complex on Larissa Lane last week. On Sunday, a victim reported being accosted by four individuals who, after brandishing a firearm, proceeded to rob him. The assailants made off with over $800 in cash, a $2,000 gold dental grill, and the victim's wallet, according to a social media post from the Vallejo Police Department.
The response from Vallejo PD was swift, as a nearby patrol unit deployed officers to the scene. The victim provided authorities with descriptions of the suspects and a direction of their flight. This led to the quick detention of two suspects near the original location. A third was apprehended inside a nearby apartment. However, one suspect remains at large, and the firearm used in the robbery has yet to be recovered.
Utilizing an in-field identification process, the victim positively identified the arrested individuals as part of the group that robbed him, including the person who pointed the gun during the incident. The black mask believed to be used in the crime was also found and secured as evidence. The two adult suspects are now being held at Solano County Jail, and the juvenile was placed in the Solano County Juvenile Detention Facility.
