According to an update from the Euless Police Department social media post, while repairs were underway, vehicles were being diverted at Crane Dr. This response included the presence of Police, Fire, and Public Works departments at the scene, who ensured the safety of the public amidst the chaos of the morning commute.
The Euless Police Department has been actively communicating updates regarding the incident and the condition of Harwood Road, advising drivers to seek alternate routes throughout the day. The department confirmed that Oncor would need to install a new pole at the location, necessitating the road's closure for several more hours.
Oncor successfully rerouted power following the incident, with the Euless Police Department reporting, "currently there are no outages in Euless."
