West Allis has adjusted its garbage and recycling schedule for the week of July 4 due to the holiday. Collections scheduled for June 30 will remain the same, while pickups for the rest of the week will occur one day earlier than usual, according to the City of West Allis.
City Hall, the Southwest Suburban Health Department, and other city facilities will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Residents are encouraged to check the City of West Allis' official schedule to avoid missed pickups.
The City of West Allis encourages residents to "sign up for email and mobile notifications" through its app to stay informed about collection schedules. There will be no brush collection during the week of June 30.
