On July 16, the neighborhood residents of West Allis have a date with their local law enforcement officials at the City Hall Council Chambers, situated at 7525 W. Greenfield Ave. Chief of Police for the West Allis Police Department, Chief Patrick Mitchell, is set to host the next quarterly Neighborhood Partnership Meeting at 6 p.m., offering community members a platform to engage with police on pressing issues.
According to a recent City of West Allis announcement, the meeting's agenda spans an update on ongoing law enforcement issues, an overview of crime trends, as well as the various challenges that are influencing our quality of life. An added segment will feature Corporal Scott Poklasny, who plans to detail his role and duties within the department as the Community Liaison Officer.
Recognizing the ongoing need for accessibility and community inclusion, officials have arranged for two modes of attendance. Those interested can either choose to be physically present in the Council Chambers or opt for the convenience of streaming the event live on the WAPD Facebook page. This approach aims to foster inclusivity and ensure wider participation across the community.
