
A woman was fatally shot by deputies in Brazoria County near Alvin during the execution of a narcotics search warrant. The incident took place at a residence on Doris Stinson Road shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday, as reported by Click2Houston. During the execution of the search warrant by numerous law enforcement agencies, the situation escalated when the woman reportedly brandished a firearm at the deputies.
The confrontation led to two Constable deputies discharging their weapons. After being shot, during which the deputies initiated CPR, the woman was rushed to a local hospital. Despite attempts to save her life, she was pronounced dead at the medical facility. As per the account by KHOU, no injuries to deputies present at the scene were reported.
Following the incident, Constable Mike Fulton of Brazoria County Constable Precinct 1 provided preliminary information. Officials assured that the Texas Rangers have taken over the investigation to conduct an extensive review of the shooting events.
