
A tragic incident unfolded at a west Harris County gas station last night, where a woman was fatally stabbed while sitting at a gaming machine. The Harris County Sheriff's Office reports that around 10:30 p.m. at the Super Stop gas station on Highway 6 South, an altercation occurred between the woman and an unidentified male, which tragically led to her being stabbed multiple times. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle and is currently still at large.
The identity of the victim has not yet been publicly released as authorities are working to fully understand the events that led up to the stabbing. According to Click2Houston, "HCSO investigators said an unidentified man and the woman were talking, and at some point, he stabbed her several times in the chest and head before taking off on a bicycle." The victim was quickly airlifted to a downtown hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.
Homicide investigators are actively working to find the suspect. As per a report by KHOU 11, authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward and help with the investigation.
