
Zephyrhills Police Department has recently expanded its force, welcoming two new officers to their ranks, the department shared in a social media post. Officer Noah Yanzer and Officer Adina Burke took their oaths, sworn in by Chief Derek Brewer, at a meeting of the City Council, as reported by the Zephyrhills Police Department's Facebook Page.
Noah Yanzer, hailing from Mukwonago, WI, brings a background rooted in a strong sense of community to the table. A recent graduate from Saint Petersburg College, Yanzer's personal interests include strumming a guitar, hunting, and competitive shooting. The new officer specifically mentioned the support from his family and friends, crediting them for their encouragement as he steps forward into this new chapter of his life.
Moving forward with a dossier of service behind her, Adina Burke grew up amidst a military family in Abilene, TX. This background forged her desire to serve, leading her to pursue a career in law enforcement following her 2023 graduation from St. Johns River State College. Off-duty, Burke enjoys pastimes such as hunting, fishing, and golf. She expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support from her parents and boyfriend throughout her journey to becoming an officer.
