An 11-year-old boy remains in critical condition after being shot several times in a Detroit residence yesterday morning. The child, visiting from Texas, was inside a house on the city's west side, at Bramell near Puritan when the shots were fired around 2 a.m., as reported by FOX 2 Detroit.
Authorities have disclosed little detailed information about the incident, but the young boy is currently fighting for his life in a local hospital after an unknown assailant, for reasons still unclear, unleashed a barrage of gunfire into the occupied home. According to a statement obtained by Audacy, Police Commander Ryan Connor confirmed that children were present in the home, with the tragic outcome being the critical injury of the 11-year-old.
