
Homestead, an Allegheny County community, is grappling with the aftermath of a shooting that left a 15-year-old boy injured. According to WPXI, the incident occurred last night at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Amity Street. Allegheny County Police were called to the scene at approximately 10:45 p.m., where they discovered evidence of a shooting in the form of shell casings, but the victim was not at the location.
Details emerged later when the teen arrived at a hospital by private means, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the upper arm. The time was around 1 a.m. when the hospital alerted the authorities to the victim's condition, which was reported as stable, as reported by CBS News.
