Tragedy struck Allegheny County, where a 2-year-old girl, identified as Mykhia Worthy, drowned in a swimming pool last night. As reported by WPXI, the incident occurred in the 1100 block of 12th Street in Stowe Township, where police responded to the scene around 7 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered residents delivering CPR to the child. The toddler was subsequently rushed to a local hospital. However, she was pronounced dead. The WTAE coverage of the event states that the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office officially named the girl this morning, following the devastating incident.
